SMARTICINIG.click is free to play. You can play without an account, and if you create one, all we need is an email address — no passwords. Questions and explanations on this site are written, adapted and edited by us. Comments and submitted questions are user generated content, so for those our website works as a platform, a hosting provider and not the publisher. We don't sell your data. Ads help pay for the hosting. If you have anything to say regarding copyright or anything else, please send us an email, and we will sort it out.

Terms of Service

Introduction

Site Terms of Service, an Enforceable Legal Agreement. First published August 2022, last updated September 28, 2026.

These Terms of Service and our privacy policy (together the "Terms") govern all use of SMARTICINIG.click and that site's services (together the "Site" or "Services"). The Site is owned by SMARTICINIG.click admin, an individual.

The owners and contributors to the Site will be referred to as "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms. By using the Site or its Services, you are deemed to be a "user" for purposes of the Terms. You and every other user ("you" or "User" as applicable) are bound by these Terms. If any User does not agree to the Terms or the Privacy Policy, such User may not access the Site or use the Services. In these Terms, the word "Site" includes the site referenced above, its owner(s), contributors, suppliers, licensors, and other related parties.

User Prohibited From Illegal Uses

User shall not use, and shall not allow any person to use, the Site or Services in any way that violates a federal, state, or local law, regulation, or ordinance, or for any disruptive, tortious, or illegal purpose, including but not limited to harassment, slander, defamation, data theft or inappropriate dissemination, or improper surveillance of any person. Automated scraping, spamming, or attempts to break or overload the Site are not allowed either.

User represents and warrants that:

User will use the Services only as provided in these Terms; User is at least 13 years old, and at least 16 years old (or has the permission of a parent or guardian) to create an account; User will provide accurate information to the Site; User will keep the information in their account up to date, either by updating it in Settings or by alerting us via the email address provided below.

Accounts and login

Accounts on SMARTICINIG.click have no passwords. To log in, you enter your email address and we send you a one-time login link ("magic link"). Anyone who can read your email can log in to your account, so please keep your email account safe. You can change your name, the country you play for, your favorite category and email reminders at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Site or other users.

Comments and community

We believe in free speech and open discussion. You can comment under every question and daily collection — with an account, or anonymously as a guest. Disagree, argue, correct us, joke around: that's what comments are for. We moderate only to keep the place legal, safe and free of spam, not to silence opinions. Comments that are illegal, hateful, threatening, harassing, contain other people's private data, or are spam will be removed. Please be kind to others.

You keep the rights to what you write. By posting a comment or submitting a question, you give us permission to display, edit (for example to fix typos or facts) and keep it on the Site.

Scores, ELO and leaderboard

If you play while logged in, your results are used to calculate your statistics, streak, ELO rating and level. Players with at least one round of 10 questions appear on the public leaderboard with their public name (first name and the first letter of the last name, or username), country flag, profile picture, level and ELO. ELO and levels are just for fun — they have no monetary value and may be recalculated or changed as the game evolves.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE PROVIDES THE SERVICES "AS IS," WITH ALL FAULTS. THE SITE DOES NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED USE OR OPERATION OF THE SERVICES, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE TRANSMITTED IN A MANNER THAT IS TIMELY, UNCORRUPTED, FREE OF INTERFERENCE, OR SECURE. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY DAMAGES THAT USER MAY SUFFER FOR ANY REASON, THE ENTIRE LIABILITY OF THE SITE IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE OR SERVICES, AND ANY PARTY'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, ACTUALLY PAID BY USER TO THE SITE OWNER DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT THAT USER CLAIMS CAUSED THE DAMAGES.

The Site shall not be liable for any damages incurred as a result of any loss, disclosure, or third party use of information, regardless of whether such disclosure or use is with or without User's knowledge or consent.

Third party products, links, and actions

The Site may include or offer third party products or services, including advertisements. These third party products and any linked sites have separate and independent terms of service and privacy policies. We have no control or responsibility for the content and activities of these linked sites and therefore you agree that we are not liable for any of them.

Changes to the Site and the Services

We reserve the right to add, change, and remove features, content, and data. You agree that we will not be liable for any such changes. The core game — playing trivia questions — is and will stay free.

Indemnity

If your activity or any activity on your behalf creates potential or actual liability for us, or for any of our users, partners, or contributors, you agree to indemnify and hold us and any such user, partner, contributor, or any agent harmless from and against all claims, costs of defense and judgment, liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, or any breach by you of these Terms of Use.

Intellectual Property

This site is built on Bootstrap 5 platform. The Site grants User a revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive license to use the Site solely in connection with the Site and the Services, under these Terms. Copyright in the Site's own content and works of authorship — including the wording of questions, answer options and explanations — belongs to the Site or its licensors. Facts themselves belong to everybody. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by the Site.

Privacy

Any information that you provide to the Site is subject to the Site's Privacy Policy, which governs our collection and use of User information.

Advertising

The Site may include advertisements, which may be targeted for relevance to the Site, queries made, or other information to improve relevance to the Site's users. The types and extent of advertising on the Site will change over time. Ads are served by Google AdSense — see Advertising below.

General

These Terms, including the incorporated Privacy Policy, supersede all oral or written communications and understandings between User and the Site. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any cause of action User may have relating to the Site or the Services must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.

Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy ("Policy") and this site's Terms of Service (together the "Terms") govern all use of SMARTICINIG.click and that site's services. We provide this privacy statement explaining our online information practices, so that you can decide whether and how to interact with the Site and the Services. The Site is run by one individual from Belgrade, Serbia, who is responsible for your data ("data controller"). Contact: info *at* SMARTICINIG *dot* click.

Our approach is simple: your data is yours. We collect only what the Site needs to work, we don't sell it, and we don't build profiles about you. You can play without an account and comment anonymously.

We may release your information when we are legally required to do so, or when it is necessary to enforce our site policies or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

What we collect

• If you just play as a guest: nothing that identifies you. Your browser remembers your chosen category (a cookie) and how many questions you answered correctly (browser local storage) — this stays on your device.
• If you create an account: your email address and username. Optionally, the name, the country you play for, the countries where you live, your favorite category and your email reminder choice — all of which you fill in yourself in Settings. We never ask for or store a password.
• Login links: when you log in, we store a one-time login token, which expires and can only be used once.
• Your games: when you are logged in, we save which questions you played, your score and the time. Game history older than 3 months is deleted automatically.
• Comments: the text of your comment, and for guests the name you enter and, if you choose, an email address for reply notifications. Guest emails are never shown publicly.
• Server logs: like every website, our hosting provider automatically keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the Site running.

What is public

Your public name (first name and first letter of the last name, or username), the flag of the country you play for, your profile picture, level, ELO and leaderboard rank, and your comments. Your email address is never public.

Profile pictures (Gravatar)

We don't store pictures. Profile pictures come from Gravatar: to show yours, your browser requests an image based on a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address. If you have no Gravatar, a generated pattern is shown instead.

Emails we send

Only the ones you ask for: login links, notifications about replies to your comments (if you ticked the box), and a daily reminder (only if you turned it on in Settings). Every reminder has a one-click unsubscribe link. No newsletters, no marketing emails, no selling of email lists.

Sharing User Data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We only use a few service providers that the Site needs to work: our web hosting provider (which stores the Site and its database), Gravatar (profile pictures), content delivery networks that serve design files such as fonts, icons and flags, and Google (advertising, see below). These providers may receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser loads their files.

Your rights

You can see and change most of your data yourself in your profile and Settings. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and all related data — just email info *at* SMARTICINIG *dot* click from the email address of your account, and we will do it within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Serbia, data protection laws (such as the GDPR) give you these rights, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Honestly, we'd rather you write to us first — we're real people and we'll fix it.

How long we keep data

Game history: 3 months. Account data: until you delete your account. Comments: until they are removed by you (on request) or by moderation. Login tokens: until used or expired.

Cookies

This site uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that the Site or a service provider will put on your computer if your Web browser allows it. Our own cookies are only functional:

• a session cookie that keeps you logged in and protects forms (deleted when the session ends);
• category_pref, which remembers your chosen category for guests (30 days);
• browser local storage that counts a guest's correct answers on this device.

Third parties, most importantly Google, may also set cookies for advertising and measurement, as described below. In most Internet browsers, you can change your settings so that you will be warned each time a cookie is being sent, or so that cookies will be turned off. With cookies blocked, some functions of the Site may not operate properly.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Ads help us keep SMARTICINIG.click free for everyone. We use Google AdSense to show them.

• Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

No Users Under the Age of 13

The Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. Children under the age of 13 should not use the Site at any time. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please let us know and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date below. Big changes will be announced on the Site.
